Custom Curtains & Blinds in Clareville

Clareville is a sheltered Pittwater suburb of leafy slopes and quiet waterfront streets, and its mix of beach cottages, substantial family houses and modern waterfront homes creates a wide range of window-furnishing needs. The main considerations are afternoon sun across Pittwater, tree-filtered light and large view windows: some rooms need glare and heat softened without losing the water outlook, while bedrooms and street-facing spaces often need stronger privacy and darkness. Sway Curtains designs, measures and installs custom curtains, blinds and shutters for Clareville homes, with local support from our Belrose showroom and a complimentary in-home measure and quote.

Curtains for Water Views and Reflected Light

Window coverings in Clareville need to balance afternoon sun across Pittwater, tree-filtered light and large view windows. In living areas, our sheer curtains soften harsh light and protect daytime privacy while keeping the room open and connected to the water outlook. Where windows receive stronger sun, light filtering curtains reduce glare and heat without making the space feel closed in. Bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms usually benefit from blackout curtains or a lined double-track arrangement, giving proper darkness at night and better control through the day.

Blinds and Shutters for Waterfront and Hillside Rooms

Curtains are not the only option for beach cottages, substantial family houses and modern waterfront homes. Our plantation shutters provide durable finishes that suit bright waterside rooms; timber options suit the rooms and finish where they perform best. Across kitchens, studies and smaller windows, roller blinds give clean, efficient control, while roman blinds add a softer tailored look. Many Clareville projects combine curtains in the main living and bedroom spaces with blinds or shutters elsewhere so every room gets the right balance of appearance, privacy and practicality.

Motorisation for View Windows and Sliding Doors

Motorisation is useful in Clareville homes with wide view windows, sliding doors and high openings on sloping sites. A motorised curtain or blind can be operated from a remote, wall control or compatible smart-home system, making it easier to adjust a whole bank of windows as the sun changes. It also keeps the finish tidy and cord-free, which works especially well in open-plan rooms, family homes and spaces where the window furnishing is used several times a day.

Booking a Measure in Clareville

Every project starts with a free in-home measure and quote. One of our team visits your Clareville property to inspect the windows, understand how each room is used and compare fabrics, colours, headings and operating options in the actual light. We measure for the finished treatment, arrange custom manufacture and complete the installation ourselves. That end-to-end approach is particularly valuable for renovations, uneven walls, wide doors and windows that need more than an off-the-shelf solution.
